History takes Nutopia's 'Mankind'
LONDON -- Nutopia, the shingle created by former Discovery and BBC topper Jane Root, hopes to cement its status for ambitious docus targeted in the worldwide market using its new commission for History, whose working title is "Mankind: The Storyline famous Us." Greenlit through the U.S. web, the 12-hour show will debut later this season, with various versions designed for individual local marketplaces, an initial for History.
