Kaleidoscope nabs 'Victim' in U.K.
LONDON -- Kaleidoscope Ing. has clicked on up U.K. rights to urban Brit drama "Victim." Pic toplines Ashley Face and Michael Maris, who both starred in street dramas "Sket" and "Anuvahood." The duo also composed the pic, that's helmed by Alex Pillai. "Victim," which notifies the story of just one youthful man's tries to get away from a cycle of violence and crime, marks the debut feature from Pure Films, a completely new shingle headed up by Danny Donnelly, creator of Pure Garage/Pure R&B music labels.
Supporting cast include Adam Deacon ("The adult yearsInch), Frank Harper ("Football Factory"), Jason Maza ("Aquarium"), Ashley Madekwe ("Secret Diary from the Call Girl"), David Harewood ("Blood stream Gem"), Letitia Wright ("Top Boy") and Shanika Warren-Markland ("4,3,2,1"). Pic is skedded for just about any spring theatrical release in Blighty. Kaleidoscope's sales arm, Kaleidoscope Film Distribution, will probably be selling the film worldwide within the Berlin Film Festival in February.
